The world's first, most visited national park is Yellowstone, established in 1872. The park is located in
Wyoming, Montana and Idaho. It is home to some 10,000 thermal features. In fact, Yellowstone has a
collection of the world's most extraordinary geysers, hot springs, fumaroles, and mud pots. The park
has cold water features too and number of waterfalls. The Yellowstone River drops over 400 feet in two
waterfalls and cuts a large, deep canyon the Grand Canyon of the Yellowstone. The park has a wide variety of wildlife including grizzly
bears, wolves, buffalo and elk.
